How affiliate links work
Merchant links may use a /go/my/ tracking path before redirecting to an official or authorized Malaysia store. The tracking path records product, merchant, placement, source, timestamp and click ID so commissions can be audited.
Some links may still be direct merchant links while affiliate approval, KYC, payment or traffic-permission checks are pending. Product pages should not describe a merchant as an approved affiliate partner unless that status has been verified.
Impact on recommendations
Revenue potential is not the only ranking factor. SapuMate MY prioritizes local warranty evidence, suitability for Malaysia homes, RM price value, ownership cost, drawbacks and source quality.
